mp3 player?
Question
I've got a new mp3 player for my wife. What does it mean 512mb and how many songs does it hold?thanks
Answer
512 MB is the capacity for the MP3 player. Every file (music, photos, video, anything) on your computer takes up space in the form of these MB (Megabytes). An MP3 file takes about 1 MB per minute, approximately, so your mp3 player should hold about 512 minutes of music. It will depend on how was the mp3 recorded, but I'm giving you an average.
MP3 Player?
Question
Can you buy an MP3 player which you can use with and without headphones? You know like a portable CD player which has intergrated speakers so you can listen to the music without the headphones. Can you get an MP3 player like this?
It's for my dad for Christmas. He's blind so speakers as an extra would be a bit tricky for him to handle.
i have an MP3 player i was wondering is it possible to transfere some music from a cd disk onto my mp3 player and if so how do i do it as i am new to this kind of thing please could you simplify it for me i dont understand computer talk just yet
Answer
If you got a disk with your mp3, install it on your computer.
If not, plug the mp3 into the computer. A message should pop up somewhere saying a new drive or hardware has been detected, and you need to click on that to open it.
Meanwhile, before you have done this or after, you put a cd into your computer, and go to media player, and go to "rip" and click on start rip, so it burns the music onto your computer.
Then you either use the included software, if it came with it, or drag and drop the music files that came off the cd, onto the mp3 drive, using "my computer".
Hope that helps in some way

Question
Ive just bought a new MP3 and cannot charge it up using the computer. I thoiught all MP3's could be charged up this way. Is mine broken or do I need to put batteries in it?
Its a FM6611. There is a place to put batteries but if you had read my question correctly you would see I said I thought all MP3's could be charged by computer.
Answer
No some mp3 players cant be charged by computer, unless it came with a chargeable battery such as the ones in cellphones then im pretty sure its like mine
If it needs "AA" Or "AAA" I suggest you buy some rechargable ones. Normal ones dont last as long.
My AAA rechargeable last me about 25 hours each :o)
