How long after confirming your pregnancy with your Dr did you hear from the midwife?

I registered my pregnancy with the Dr today. I actually got my BFP 2 weeks ago, but haven't been able to go due to the Dr having no appointments, having morning sickness and work.
He said the midwife will send me a letter with an appointment date. How long did it take for your midwife to contact you? I live in Cornwall in the UK.

im in the uk in hampshire and for me i had an appointment at 10 weeks she did my bloods and booked my 12 week scan

What is likely to be the next step after seeing a fertility dr?

I have Endometriosis which has blocked my tubes :o(
We are due to see a fertility dr next year about TTC, can anyone tell me whats likely to happen at that appointment?

Iam going through the same exact thing. I just went in for surgery to see why Ive been having pelvic pain. During surgery my tubes were blocked and filled with fluid, also had severe endo. Ive been diagnosed with endo since I was 14 years old.
My Dr is putting me on the Lupron Depot shot. I dont know if you have tried that or not but it puts you into menopause and shrinks the endo tissue, so after the shots becoming pregnant will become easier. The Dr 1st has to unblock the tube though, so If you havent had that done, youll need surgery to do so.
If the Lupron shot doesnt work you still have options. IVF is a great option that many with endo take and are successful with it.

How is it possible to know if a Dr has prescribed a placebo?

First - does the dr use a hidden message on the prescription to tell them to give a placebo? or do the Dr phone up the chemist and tell them?
Second, do placebo tablets look exactly the same as the real ones? Is there a website that i could look at to tell if my tablets are placebos?

Take the pills BACK to the pharmacist and have him/her determine the identity of it-or---type in the name of your drug into the browser and see what pops up. Good luck~! Depending on the drug, a placebo CAN work-it is mind over matter...(I know because it happened to me, the drug was clonazepam)

Dr. Jekyll derives his potion in some sort of scientific manner as opposed to finding a magical amulet or something that releases evil as you might find in other stories. Dr. Jekyll’s brand of science, however, veers towards the "transcendental" (indeed, supernatural), while Dr. Lanyon adheres to a more traditional set of scientific notions.

How do I disassemble the controlTalk bit of Dr Dre tour earplugs?

I've got these (perhaps unoffical) Dr. Dre Tour earphones with control Talk and anyone phoning my iPhone 4s gets their own voice echoing back to them. Obvious a fault, but I don't want to break them since they perform well as earphones.So I'm guessing the fault lies within the control switches. But I cant get them apart.
