should i get the ipad 2 or the iPhone 4 on pay as you go? i already own a macbook (white) and a blackberry curve phone. what do you think should get? thanks

Heres the current situation. I owe my Mom £500 for this expensive laptop, but I also need a new phone. She said I don't have to pay her back immediately. My current phone is blackberry and the only thing I love it for is BBM and email. Everything else is rubbish! I've owned a iPhone 3GS Before but it broke. I either want a blackberry 9360 (New Curve) but if I bought that i'd want to buy an iPod touch too, the one in white. Although I love blackberry I also loved my iPhone. I could get an iPhone 4 off eBay for £300 so I don't have to buy an iPod again. hmm, which would you go for? The BB + iPod works out more expensive but I love BB's... But I still have ti pay my Mom back. Help?

iPhone 4 by far. Has everything you need neatly in one devices. Its amazing. No doubt about it! Plus apple have introduced iMessage, a better version of BBM for iPod touch, iPhone and iPad users. Everything about iPhone's are better, and if you were going to get an iPod touch anyway you may aswel get an iPhone and have Text's, Phone, Internet, Apps, Music, Camera, iMessage, Face Time all on the move. Its Brilliant.

My contract is nearing an end and I'm now beginning to look about for a new phone. I use it for work (by work I mean personal organiser, reading documents, emailing etc) and play (by play I mean mainly videos and web browsing). Anyway what I'm asking is for your views and opinions on these phones and which you think best meets my needs. (I'm also wondering about getting an iPad and just sticking my current phone on a simplicity contract.) Also if I'm honest I would like to steer clear of anything Samsung, I've not had a great experience with them. For example my touch screen phone became unresponsive, and my camcorder would constantly overheat at the most inopportunene moments.
